Mike Wilson

Senior Character Animator

Mike Wilson is an Emmy Award-winning Senior Character Animator with a career spanning television, commercials, and film since 2008.


Inspired by animation from an early age, Mike pursued the craft out of a love for the medium and a passion for storytelling. His strong foundation in classical animation prepared him for work at over twenty studios, including Sony Pictures Imageworks, Blue Sky Studios, Digital Domain, ILM, and Tippett Studio, beginning with Sesame Street’s first computer-animated series. His credits include Predator: Killer of Killers, Ted, The Addams Family 2, Spirit Untamed, Baba Yaga, Hotel Transylvania 2, and The Emoji Movie.


Mike’s work across digital character animation and visual effects has given him versatility across styles and genres. Known for his energetic and thoughtful approach, he combines artistic skill with technical proficiency, continually refining his craft while inspiring others to elevate their animation practice.
